The winner of the 2024–25 MFL Challenge Cup will be announced tonight, with Selangor FC holding a one-goal advantage from the first Semi-Final match in Penang earlier today, bringing the aggregate score to 1-0.

Katsuhito Kinoshi, Head Coach of Selangor FC, wants the team to get the best result for the fans.

“This is our third match against Penang FC, and I believe they are a strong team. They have the qualities to pose a real threat to the Red and Yellow squad, and their organisation in every movement is impressive. That said, our focus will be on our own style of play. We’ll make the necessary adjustments, including playing more aggressively, particularly in attack. The goal tonight is clear: to achieve the best result and bring joy to our fans.” Kinoshi explained.

Regarding the players update, Noor Al-Rawabdeh has now completed the second month of recovery following an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury. Meanwhile, Yohandry Orozco has resumed training with his teammates after fully recovering from a hamstring injury. Furthermore, the rest of the Red Giants players are all fit and ready to be listed for tonight’s match.
